About Us

Palmetto High School Cheer-59

Palmetto Sports Imaging was founded in April 2016 by professional photographer Troy Browder. Troy started Palmetto Sports imaging with 1 goal in mind. To create high quality sports images available to student athletes and their families at  little to no cost, to not only preserve memories of the best years growing up, but to also build a portfolio to astonish college recruiters and receive athletic scholarships. Palmetto Sports Imaging will be working hard with select school’s athletic programs and providing top quality action sports photos from games, as well as team portraits, individual portraits, (newly planned) Sportraits, and athlete portfolio building. We are looking forward to helping South Carolina student athletes on the next path of their educational journey!

Troy Browder

Owner / Photographer

I am a Columbia South Carolina native. I have been photographing professionally since 2009, starting off with music photography and transitioning to portraiture and weddings. In 2014 he started shooting high school sports photography thanks to a recommendation from friend, and photographer Sean Rayford. After photographing for 2 years for another local area company, I decided to take a new route and pursue more than just action photography. In  April of 2016 I started a brain child for Palmetto Sports Imaging. Combining action sports photography, and team & individual photography that has traditional and non traditional options for high schools across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.
